The Rockwood Garage Doors Grand Opening Giveaway (the “Contest”) is sponsored and administered by Rockwood Garage Doors Inc. (“Rockwood Garage Doors” or the “Sponsor”), located at 1-8750 Regional Road 25, Milton, Ontario L9T 9E8. By entering the Contest, each entrant agrees to be bound by these Official Contest Rules & Regulations.

1. The Contest will take place during the Rockwood Garage Doors Grand Opening on Saturday, October 3, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time at Rockwood Garage Doors Inc., 1-8750 Regional Road 25, Milton, Ontario L9T 9E8. All entries must be received during the Contest Period. Entries received before 10:00 a.m. or after 2:00 p.m. on October 3, 2026 will not be eligible.

2. No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win. Making a purchase from Rockwood Garage Doors, Garaga, C.H.I. or any other business will not increase an entrant’s chances of winning.

3. The Contest is open to legal residents of Ontario who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry, submit a valid entry in person during the Contest Period, have an eligible residential property at which the prize can be installed or have written authorization from the property owner to replace the garage door at that property, and otherwise comply with these Official Rules. The installation property must be located within Rockwood Garage Doors’ eligible installation area. Employees, officers, directors and owners of Rockwood Garage Doors Inc., and members of their immediate families or households, are not eligible to enter. For the purposes of these Rules, “household” means persons residing at the same residential address.

4. The prize garage door must be installed by Rockwood Garage Doors at an eligible property located within Halton Region, Rockwood, Erin, Puslinch, Guelph, Mississauga, Cambridge, or within approximately a 30-minute drive of 8750 Regional Road 25, Milton, Ontario. Eligibility of properties located near the boundary of this area will be determined by Rockwood Garage Doors acting reasonably based on normal driving distance and serviceability. The installation property must fall within the eligible area at the time of entry. Properties outside the eligible installation area are not eligible for this Contest.

5. To enter, an entrant must attend the Rockwood Garage Doors Grand Opening on October 3, 2026 between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., complete the official Contest entry form, and submit the completed entry form at the designated Contest entry location. Entrants may be required to provide their name, address, telephone number, email address and installation property address. Limit one (1) entry per household. If more than one entry is received from the same household, only the first eligible entry received may be accepted and all additional entries may be declared void. Incomplete, illegible, altered, duplicated, fraudulent or otherwise non-compliant entries may be disqualified. Entrants do not need to be present when the winners are selected.

6. There are two (2) prizes available to be won, with one separate winner for each prize. Prize #1 is one (1) 8′ x 7′ Garaga Iron Ore VOG garage door with slim tinted windows, awarded as displayed and specified, together with standard installation by Rockwood Garage Doors. The approximate retail value of the Garaga prize is $3340 +HST CAD, including standard installation. The Garaga prize is an 8′ x 7′ door and is awarded as is. The selected installation property must have an existing garage door opening and installation conditions suitable for the supplied 8′ x 7′ door. The Garaga prize cannot be resized or exchanged for a different model, design, colour or size unless expressly agreed to by Rockwood Garage Doors.

7. Prize #2 is one (1) 8′ x 7′ black C.H.I. long raised panel garage door, together with standard installation by Rockwood Garage Doors. The approximate retail value of the C.H.I. prize is $1985 +HST CAD, including standard installation. If the confirmed winner requires a different garage door size, the winner may request another available size of the applicable C.H.I. door. Any increase in the cost of the door resulting from a different size will be the responsibility of the winner and must be paid to Rockwood Garage Doors before the upgraded or resized door is ordered. Any additional options, upgrades or modifications requested by the winner are also the responsibility of the winner.

8. Standard installation is included with each prize and generally includes removal and disposal of the existing residential sectional garage door, installation of the prize garage door using the manufacturer’s standard track, hardware and components, normal installation labour, adjustment, balancing and testing of the newly installed garage door, and normal cleanup following installation. The existing opening must be structurally sound and reasonably suitable for a standard residential garage door installation.

9. Unless specifically stated otherwise by Rockwood Garage Doors, standard installation does not include garage door opener replacement or installation, electrical work, wiring or electrical outlets, aluminum capping or exterior cladding, framing changes, header, jamb or structural modifications, masonry, concrete or drywall work, painting or finishing work, repairs to rotten, damaged or inadequate framing, special track systems, low-headroom, high-lift, vertical-lift or other non-standard track configurations, structural engineering, permits, specialty equipment or lift rental, modifications required to make an unsuitable opening accept the prize door, or any other work outside a normal residential garage door replacement. Any additional work requested or required beyond standard installation will be quoted separately and will be the responsibility of the winner. The winner is under no obligation to purchase optional upgrades.

10. Before a prize is ordered or installed, Rockwood Garage Doors may conduct a site measurement or inspection to verify the garage door opening dimensions, framing condition, headroom, sideroom and backroom, floor and opening conditions, accessibility, electrical or opener considerations, suitability of the property for the prize, and compliance with these Official Rules. The winner must provide reasonable access to the installation property for measurement and installation. If the selected entrant does not own the property, written authorization from the property owner must be provided before the entrant can be confirmed as a winner. If Rockwood Garage Doors determines that the property cannot safely or reasonably accommodate the applicable prize without substantial modifications, the selected entrant may decline to pay for the required modifications. In that case, the selected entrant will not receive that prize and another eligible entrant may be selected.

11. Two potential winners will be selected by random draw from all eligible entries received during the Contest Period. The random draw will take place on or about Tuesday, October 6, 2026 at Rockwood Garage Doors in Milton, Ontario. The Garaga prize will be drawn first. After a winner of the Garaga prize has been confirmed, that household will no longer be eligible for the C.H.I. prize. The C.H.I. prize will then be drawn from the remaining eligible entries. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

12. Being selected in the random draw does not automatically make an entrant a winner. Before being confirmed as a winner, each selected entrant must correctly answer, without assistance, a mathematical skill-testing question administered by Rockwood Garage Doors. If a selected entrant does not correctly answer the skill-testing question, that entrant will not be declared a winner and another eligible entrant may be selected.

13. Potential winners will be contacted using the telephone number and/or email address provided on their Contest entry. A selected entrant must respond to Rockwood Garage Doors within three (3) business days of the first attempted contact. Before being confirmed as a winner, a selected entrant may be required to provide proof of identity and age, confirm the installation property address, provide proof of ownership or written property-owner authorization, successfully answer the skill-testing question, allow Rockwood Garage Doors to verify the garage door opening and installation conditions, sign a winner declaration, release and publicity consent form, and agree to all other conditions contained in these Official Rules.

14. If a selected entrant cannot be contacted, fails to respond within the required time, does not meet the eligibility requirements, provides false or inaccurate information, cannot provide property-owner authorization where required, does not correctly answer the skill-testing question, has an installation property that does not qualify, refuses to comply with the conditions of the prize, or declines the prize, that entrant will be disqualified and Rockwood Garage Doors may randomly select another eligible entrant.

15. There is a maximum of one (1) prize per household. A household that has been confirmed as the winner of one garage door prize is no longer eligible to win the second garage door prize.

16. As a disclosed condition of accepting a prize, each confirmed winner agrees to permit a Rockwood Garage Doors lawn sign to be displayed at the installation property for thirty (30) consecutive days following completion of the garage door installation. There is no charge to the winner for the lawn sign. This requirement applies only where the sign is permitted by applicable municipal bylaws, condominium rules, homeowner association rules, lease requirements and other applicable property restrictions. Where such rules legally prohibit the lawn sign, the lawn-sign requirement will be waived. The winner will not be required to violate any municipal bylaw or applicable property rule.

17. Prizes must be accepted as awarded, subject to the C.H.I. sizing provision described in these Rules. Prizes have no cash surrender value, cannot be exchanged for cash, cannot be sold or transferred to another person or property without the Sponsor’s written permission, and cannot be combined with another promotion or offer unless Rockwood Garage Doors agrees otherwise. Rockwood Garage Doors reserves the right, where circumstances outside its reasonable control make the advertised prize unavailable, to substitute a prize or component with another product of equal or greater approximate retail value. Any difference between the stated approximate retail value and the actual retail value of a prize will not be awarded.

18. Installation will be scheduled by Rockwood Garage Doors with each confirmed winner based on product availability, site readiness and Rockwood Garage Doors’ installation schedule. Winners must reasonably cooperate with Rockwood Garage Doors in arranging site measurement and installation. Unless Rockwood Garage Doors agrees otherwise due to product availability or other circumstances, installation should be completed within approximately six (6) months of winner confirmation. Delays resulting from product availability, manufacturing, weather, site readiness or circumstances outside Rockwood Garage Doors’ reasonable control will not result in a cash payment or replacement cash value.

19. As a condition of accepting a prize, each confirmed winner agrees to permit Rockwood Garage Doors to publicly announce the winner and to photograph and/or record video of the winner, the prize garage door, the garage door installation, the completed garage door, the exterior of the installation property and home as reasonably necessary to show the garage door and completed project, and the winner with the completed installation where reasonably requested. Each confirmed winner grants Rockwood Garage Doors permission to use the winner’s name, municipality, photograph, video, image, voice, comments, likeness, and photographs or video of the completed garage door and exterior of the installation property for reasonable advertising, promotional, social media, website, print, portfolio, showroom display and marketing purposes without additional compensation. Rockwood Garage Doors may share this content through its website, social media accounts, digital advertising, printed marketing materials, showroom displays and other promotional materials. Rockwood Garage Doors will not publish the winner’s full residential street address as part of its promotional content unless the winner provides separate permission to do so. Where the installation property is owned by someone other than the winner, the winner must obtain any necessary permission from the property owner before photographs or video of the property are used for promotional purposes. The winner may be asked to participate in reasonable photographs or video at the time of installation or following completion of the project. This permission will also be included in the winner’s declaration, release and publicity consent form and will be subject to applicable privacy laws.

20. Personal information collected through the Contest will be used by Rockwood Garage Doors for purposes reasonably necessary to administer the Contest, including verifying eligibility, contacting selected entrants, confirming winners, arranging property measurements, scheduling installation, administering and documenting the awarding of prizes, and complying with legal obligations. Entering the Contest does not automatically provide consent to receive future promotional emails or text messages from Rockwood Garage Doors. If Rockwood Garage Doors offers entrants the opportunity to receive future marketing communications, that consent will be requested separately through an optional opt-in. Choosing not to consent to marketing communications will not affect an entrant’s eligibility or chances of winning.

21. By accepting a prize, each winner agrees to release and hold harmless Rockwood Garage Doors Inc., its owners, employees, representatives and agents, and the applicable prize suppliers, from claims arising from participation in the Contest or acceptance and use of the prize, except to the extent such liability cannot legally be excluded. Nothing in these Rules limits any rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived under applicable law. Rockwood Garage Doors remains responsible for performing its installation work in accordance with its normal professional obligations.

22. Rockwood Garage Doors reserves the right to disqualify an entrant who violates these Official Rules, submits false or misleading information, attempts to obtain more than the permitted number of entries, interferes with or attempts to manipulate the random draw, or otherwise acts in a fraudulent or unfair manner in connection with the Contest. If circumstances outside Rockwood Garage Doors’ reasonable control affect the fair or safe administration of the Contest, Rockwood Garage Doors may suspend, modify or cancel the Contest, subject to applicable law. Any modification will be made in a manner intended to preserve the fairness and integrity of the Contest. All decisions relating to the administration of the Contest will be made by Rockwood Garage Doors in accordance with these Official Rules and applicable law.

23. The Contest may be advertised on Facebook, Instagram or other social media platforms; however, it is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Meta Platforms, Inc., Facebook, Instagram or any other social media platform unless expressly stated otherwise. Entrants release such platforms from responsibility in connection with administration of the Contest. Entries are accepted in person at the Rockwood Garage Doors Grand Opening and not through likes, shares, comments or other social-media activity unless Rockwood Garage Doors expressly announces an additional eligible entry method.

24. Garaga and C.H.I. trademarks and product names remain the property of their respective owners. Unless expressly stated otherwise, Rockwood Garage Doors Inc. is responsible for the administration of this Contest.

25. The Contest and these Official Rules are governed by the applicable laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.

26. Once each selected entrant has been contacted, satisfied the eligibility requirements, correctly answered the skill-testing question, completed any required verification, signed any required declaration, release and publicity consent, and been confirmed as a winner, Rockwood Garage Doors may announce the confirmed winner on its website, social media pages and other promotional channels. A person will not be publicly announced as a winner until the winner-confirmation process has been completed.
